Jan in Scottsdale Arizona gave us a call to remove calcium from her swimming pool tile. They were putting the house on the market and wanted to remove the unsightly white calcium line. Media of choice for this pool tile cleaning job: Max Strip.  Similar to Epsom salt Max Strip cleans swimming pool tiles with no damage to gaze or color.  This tile is a little challenging since its dark grey.  Darker tiles show everything.  If it has been pumiced or cleaned improperly with glass bead, you will see the damage.   Tile cleaning took 1.5 hours to complete.  As you see by the before and after,  Jan’s tile looked like new!   (No sealer was applied.) Jan’s neighbor flagged us down to look at his pool.  We had some extra time so agreed on a price and went to work.  This is an example of five years of calcium build up.  We salt blasted the tile and within about a hour the pool tile looked like the day it was put in! The blast media is 100% water soluble and will not harm color or glaze on swimming pool tiles.  Thanks Nick!
