Today Arizona Bead Blasting is headed NW to Surprise Arizona. We received a call from Jack who was in need of a pool drain and some calcium removal. The tile had been cleaned by another company two years ago and it was due for service. We dropped of the sump pump the day before and when we arrived the next morning the pool was dry and ready to go. In most circumstances we don’t drain the entire pool but Jack said it had been a few years so we offered to help. The pool tile cleaning process took about 45 minutes and we were able to bring the tile to looking new. Kudos to the tile cleaning service before Arizona Bead Blasting because the tile was in excellent shape and NO sealer. Thank you Jack for trusting us with your pool. Fun Facts about Surprise Arizona: Surprise was founded in 1938. The name for the city came about because the residence were “surprised” the city amounted to anything.  20 miles NW of Phoenix, Surprise is known for its large population of retirees. Folks in their 60’s flocked to the warm weather city during the 90’s and 2000’s. The population as of 2013 is 120000 plus. The local Walmart is the second largest employer next to the Dysart school district. Surprise is also home to the Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers. Ah good ol’ spring training.
