What Is Salt Blasting?
This technique again is much like sand blasting, however the air pressure and the media are much different. Kieserite - (Natural mined mineral salt often compared to Epsom) is shot at low pressure. When the salt hits the surface it pops and this force is what frees the calcium from the pool tile’s surface. . The spent media and calcium deposits sink to the base of the pool were it will be vacuumed out. Kieserite is pH neutral, 100% Non-Hazardous and water soluble. We use this method primary for cleaning swimming pool tiles.
#1 Choice for Pool Tile Cleaning!
The experts at Arizona Bead Blasting, the Valleys’ pool tile cleaning specialist, are now offering the newest media for pool tile cleaning: pool salt blasting. Kieserite pool formula (Epson Salt) is specially formulated for cleaning swimming pool tiles. It’s a gentle alternative to glass beads. It safely removes calcium, mineral deposits, oily residue, mold, algae and scale from pool waterline surfaces. Some pool tile surfaces cannot be cleaned with glass bead due to either their delicate nature or home owner neglect. Glass tile, black tile, decorative tile and heavily calcified pool tiles can now be cleaned with spectacular results! Kieserite costs a little more per linear foot than glass bead but the results are definitely worth it.
Pool salt blasting is not a do-it-yourself project. Let Arizona Bead Blasting take all the mess and frustration out of cleaning your swimming pool tile. Our tools and equipment are custom made for pool salt blasting, and we use Kieserite for the best results.
